WW2 Day
We had an excellent day learning more about World War 2. All children were encouraged to come dressed as an evacuee, we were very impressed with the efforts of our children and all of their super ideas for their costumes. P4 were able to explore the history of this time. They looked at maps, weaponry, clothing, morse code, victory medals and played lots of different games from the 1940’s. They even completed their very own marching drill!

Welcome to P4 page.
This year we will be learning lots of new and exciting things. We have just started Accelerated reading for the first time, which is very exciting!
In Literacy we are enjoying reading 'George's Marvelous Medicine' and loving every minute of it! We are learning all about recount writing and are attempting to read 1,000 high frequency words.
In Numeracy we are busy using Dienes to partition HTU numbers and will be soon adding and subtracting HTU.
Our topic this half term is 'Life Cycles'. We are finding out about the life cycle of frogs and butterflies.
