Welcome to P4!

 

Welcome to P4 page.

This year we will be learning lots of new and exciting things. We have just started Accelerated reading for the first time, which is very exciting! 

 

In Literacy we are enjoying reading 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and loving every minute of it! We are learning all about recount writing and are attempting to read 1,000 high frequency words. 

 

In Numeracy we are busy using Dienes to partition HTU numbers and will soon be adding and subtracting HTU. We are also learning how to tell the time on digital and analogue clocks.

 

Our  topic this half term is 'Pirates'. We are enjoying finding out more about treausure maps and the vocabulary spoken by pirates.
