Welcome to P4!

 

Welcome to P4 page.

This year we will be learning lots of new and exciting things!

 

In Literacy we are enjoying reading 'George’s Marvellous Medicine' and loving every minute of it! We are learning all about recount writing and are attempting to read 1,000 high frequency words. 

 

In Numeracy we are busy using Dienes to partition HTU numbers and will soon be adding and subtracting HTU. We are also learning how to tell the time on digital and analogue clocks.

 

Our  topic this half term is 'life cycles'. We are wnjoying using the IPads to research lots of butterfly and frog facts.

We are learning all about common and proper nouns. We started by searching all around school to see how many common and proper nouns we could find. 🕵️🔎

We have loved using the IPads to research about butterfly life cycles. 🦋
