The children had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day by taking part in a wide range of enjoyable activities. We relaxed with hot chocolate and cookies while watching a Julia Donaldson story alongside our friends in P1 and P2.

We also joined a webinar with a real illustrator through NI Libraries, where the children followed step‑by‑step instructions to create their own character drawings. Later, we took part in a live Just2easy lesson, designing imaginative story settings.

P3 finished the day by making creative monster bookmarks and enjoying paired reading with children from P5. It was a very busy day, but one filled with fun, creativity and a shared love of books!
